Additional Coverage Options available for purchase

Excess Liability

Does the facility you use demand higher limits of insurance than the general liability program offers? Or maybe you just like the security of higher limits for your liability coverage. RMS can help. We offer an additional Excess Liability option for your coverage. When purchased in conjunction with the general liability policy, excess liability increases the policy limit to $5,000,000.00 per occurrence and the Aggregate on the Excess Liability policy is $3,000,000.00. The aggregate on the underlying liability policy remains unlimited.


Pool Premises Liability

If you own your pool facility, manage a pool or occupy a unit to which you have done tenant improvements, RMS has available optional liability coverage for you. Pool premises liability offers coverage for other than swim lesson exposures. This would include non-participants at your facility.


Lifeguard/ CPR Certification Participants Excess Medical/ Dental

For those that offer Lifeguard/CPR certification classes to the public we can add the Excess Medical/Accident coverage. The liability is already included at no additional cost but if you would also like to cover them for injury during the class, this is available.


Gymnastics Program Insurance

RMS can now offer coverage for those who also have Gymnastics programs. This can be written on a separate policy or packaged with your Swimming program. Please contact us to obtain a quote.


Individual Sports Instructor Insurance

This program is available to the smaller swim schools and insures the individual who is providing the lessons. Many who teach at their own residential pool or customers pools, benefit with this program as this type activity is no longer covered under our liability program, most Insurance Companies have stopped offering coverage to this type of risk.


Property Coverage

For those of you who own your own facility or have Retro-Fitted a leased location (adding pools and remodeling at your own expense) we recommend obtaining Property Coverage. This is almost always a requirement in your lease with the landlord.

The Benefits are:

  • Replacement Cost Coverage for your Building or Tenants Improvements/Betterments
  • Replacement Cost Coverage for your Business Personal Property
  • Business Income with Expense should your business be shut down for a period of time due to a covered loss.

Optional Enhancement Endorsements are also available which may include:

  • Accounts Receivable, on and off premises
  • Computer coverage, including Laptops
  • Employee dishonesty
  • Personal Property of other
  • Property at other locations
  • Back Up of Sewers and Drains
